WHO IS RIKKY REIGN?

RIKKY REIGN is not your average rapper from around the way. He's a true performer and entertainer! 

Like his father, he began his career as a dj and event host while in college at Texas Southern University. It was there that he learned how to cater to various audiences and adapt to an ever-changing entertainment scene. As a saxophonist in the University's Marching Band, he was able to travel throughout the country and witness first hand how different demographics of people received their exciting productions. This was all he needed to help him transition into a full-time rap artist.

Black Label Independent was founded by RIKKY REIGN and his wife; Daanja Grl, who is also his producer. They created their own music label to establish a solid foundation that could support their projects all while building a brand that would make a huge impact in the music and entertainment industry. All of his music on every single album was written, produced, mixed, and mastered by them solely.

His approach to music is unique because he's embraced an unconventional lane of artistry where he combines creative and catchy lyrics with live instruments during his show. And just when you think that's all he has to offer, he then breaks out into some signature moves/steps from either one of the fraternities that he's a proud member of. 

He prides himself on being able to perform his music in front of any crowd and completely win them over with his intense level of energy and enthusiasm. 

He's extremely competitive and motivated by the desire to revive the styles of clean music made popular by iconic artists like Will Smith and Michael Jackson. He feels very confident that he's what's missing in today's pop culture.
